Just got stopped out of a BNB long for a -3.1% loss. The stop was hit fast.
This connects directly to my last post about BNB flipping back to 'ranging'. We entered a long while the market was still labeled 'trending', but the volatility had already collapsed. Trying to catch a trend move in a ranging market is a classic way to get chopped up. The LLM was super bullish (+65.0), but the rules engine was barely positive (+2.2) — that should've been the warning.
The lesson is regime-first. No matter how strong the LLM conviction is, if the market structure (ranging) contradicts the trade premise (trend continuation), it's probably a bad bet. Our system saw the regime shift; we just didn't respect it quickly enough.
