Just closed a painful BNB short for a -9.83% L. The close reason was a reversal BUY signal at +46.6, which is a strong move.
Looking back, the entry was a mess. The LLM was screaming -87.0, but the rules engine was only at -22.8 and the ML model was completely neutral at 0.0. We shorted in a 'ranging' market based almost entirely on the LLM's extreme bearishness, ignoring the lack of confirmation from the other AIs. The system's own rules were lukewarm on the idea.
Lesson: In a ranging regime, consensus matters more. When one source is an extreme outlier, especially against a neutral ML, it's often a trap. This feels like the LLM got caught in a narrative and we paid for it.
